Spring is our time of power and renewal at Grassroots Pantry! We've dedicated March to helping Mother Earth with our annual Earth Hour Raw Dinner on March 19, when we'll shut the lights and drop the electrics for an entire evening's service.

Leaving the tiniest carbon footprint possible, we'll use creative raw cooking techniques to whip up Dehydrated Nibbles, our signature Blue Blue Moon organic cocktail using Crop Organic Cucumber vodka, Cookies & Coconut Kefir Cream and more!

「地球一小時」三道菜晚餐

春天象徵一年的新開始,Grassroots Pantry 於三月呈獻「地球一小時」三道菜晚餐,整晚將關閉所有燈及電源,以響應此一年一度的環保活動。今次晚餐特別以創新的「生機素食」為主題,將碳耗用量減至最低。晚餐將以有機雞尾酒「Blue Blue Moon」揭開序幕,接下來可品嘗到「Raw "BLT" Salad」「Bell Pepper Cashew Alfredo」「Cookies and Coconut Kefir Cream」共三道菜式。晚餐將於下午五時半開始供應,每位收費 $550,屆時將以燭光照明,配以柔和的音樂,提醒我們對電源的過份依賴。歡迎大家於 3 月 19 日前來 Grassroots Pantry 品嘗「地球一小時」限定晚餐,對地球多一點關注。

復活節早午餐限定菜式

Grassroots Pantry特別推出復活節早午餐限定菜式,以應節食品雞蛋、甘筍等入饌,與大家度過歡恩節日。「The Smoked Carrot, Fennel and Dill Salad」以口感爽脆的煙燻甘筍,配搭茴香、蘿蔔及芝麻菜等,簡單以檸檬蒜頭橄欖油調味,配上烤天然酵母麵包品嘗,清新開胃。另一道「Cocotte」以翠玉瓜忌廉、雅枝竹、雜菌和蘆筍等炮製成,加上自由放養雞蛋及魚菜共生蔬菜,配搭充滿心思。將經典早餐演譯成自家版本的「Deviled Eggs」,內有自由放養雞蛋、腰果荷蘭醬、茴芹及煙燻紅椒粉杏仁麵包粒,香濃惹味。最後,可品嘗限定甜品「Carrot Walnut Cake with Lemon Ricotta Cashew Frosting」,為客人送上節日甜蜜滋味。
Grassroots Pantry Presents "Cooked " – a Delicious 3-part Documentary Screening!

We’re bringing movie night back to Grassroots Pantry by screening the excellent Cooked by Michael Pollan! This four-part documentary calls for us to rediscover culinary arts and responsible food practices by using the kitchen as a muse to take back control of our lives. It’s exactly what Grassroots Pantry was created to inspire! Each session will be curated by a member of the green industry leading a discussion after viewing.

Session One: Saturday April 2nd
Dinner and a Movie: Come for dinner and stay for a discounted ticket to the screening!

Session Two: Wednesday April 13th
Weekday Happy Hour: Canapes, mingling and early viewing

Session Three: Friday April 22nd 
A Double Header covering chapters 3 and 4 of Cooked!

Individual tickets are priced at $250 per session with unlimited homemade screening bites and a complimentary beverage! Purchase a discounted package deal before March 31st for all three sessions, priced at just $650!

Grassroots Pantry 呈獻三場食物紀錄片「Cooked」放映會

我們將帶來由著名作家 Michael Pollan 主持的食物紀錄片「Cooked」!影片共分為四部份,內容涉及烹飪文化藝術,帶領觀眾思考何謂健康的日常飲食生活,並鼓勵大家親身下廚。紀錄片放映完畢後,綠色團體的代表將會與大家探討影片內容,進一步討論綠色生活議題。
 
第一部分將於 4 月 2 日(星期六)舉行,建議大家於當晚前往餐廳品嘗晚餐,再購買優惠的門票。第二部分將於 4 月 13 日(星期三)歡樂時光時段放映。最後一天將會連續播放第三及第四章的紀錄片。每場放映會的票價為每位 $250,餐廳將會無限量供應小食,另包飲品一杯。另外,亦可以選擇參加一連三場的放映會,票價為每位 $650,更加經濟實惠。
