Dear members and supporters,

The Board of the Conservative Friends of the Chinese (CFOC) are pleased to announce that it has named Jonathan Lui and Xingang Wang as Co-Directors of the organisation.

In a planned transition, Jonathan and Xingang succeed Jackson Ng, a Barrister, who has now stepped down after 4 years to focus on his new roles as Councillor for Beaconsfield Town Council and Deputy Chair Political for Beaconsfield Constituency Conservatives Association (BCCA). Jackson has now also joined the Executive Board of CFOC.

In a joint statement, Jonathan and Xingang said, "We are honoured to take this role to serve the Party and the British Chinese community. We will work tirelessly to continue to help the organisation grow and shall rise to the challenges over the exciting days ahead."

Xingang works in financial services in the City of London. He serves his local community as a local Councillor, magistrate and former school governor. Mr Wang stood as Conservative Prospective Parliamentary Candidate in Manchester Central in 2015 and 2017. He is an alumni of Imperial College London, Oxford University and Harvard Business School.

Jonathan is currently reading Medicine at University College London (UCL) and served as CFOC Campaign Manager for the 2015 and 2017 General Election. He was also involved in East Surrey Conservative Association as Youth Co-ordinator.

Jackson Ng, who was Director of CFOC from 2013 to 2017, said, "I am delighted that Jonathan and Xingang are both on board as co-directors. The organisation will benefit from the networks, events and campaigning experience that they both bring to it individually. Having worked with them both over the past 3 years, I know they will continue to make CFOC the key political organisation in the British Chinese community and support and serve the Conservative Party."

Yours faithfully,

Conservative Friends of the Chinese
