Water, Water Everywhere!

July is here! Check out these top 8 ways to beat the heat at Natural Springs Resort this month:

Lake Swimming
Jump off the diving board or wade in to some of the clearest water in the area from our large sandy beach.

Three Waterslides
Climb 27 feet into the sky, then soar down the Roaring River and the Hurricane! Or slide down the smaller Roaring River Jr. for our younger visitors — either way you're sure to get soaked.

Scuba Diving
Explore the depths of our spring-fed lake with an all-day diving pass for only $18, which includes one free air fill.

Heated Swimming Pool
Swimming hours are 11AM - 7PM for the public and 9:30AM - 9PM for registered campers. Campsite reservations include pool swimming for two days. See website for public pricing.

Canoeing and Kayaking
Get sloppy with your paddles and splash fellow boaters with 30 and 60 minute canoe and kayak rentals.

Hand-dipped ice cream, smoothies, and twister treats
Stop by the Beachside Grill for a selection of hand dipped and soft serve ice cream flavors in cone or bowl, sundaes, milkshakes, smoothies or twister treats.

Sponge Bombs

Have your own water war at home or at your campsite with this simple craft. You need:
  • Household Sponges
  • Hair ties
  • Scissors
  • Bucket(s) of water

Cut each sponge in thirds, wrap with a hair tie, and fan out to create the sponge bomb. Give each player a water bucket and equal number of sponge bombs. On the count of 3, fling sponge bombs at other players. Whoever gets the most "hits" wins. Bonus: easier cleanup than water balloons!
