G21 HWB PILLAR UPDATE - MARCH 2020
DIRECTOR'S UPDATE
The G21 Health and Wellbeing Pillar Executive group members are in the process of developing a model for improved health and wellbeing planning across the region, aligning effort and priorities. This will be an attempt to improve outcomes in people’s health through collective effort of partner organisations. By linking planning and resources across a wide range of community agencies it is hoped that social inequities that result in poor health outcomes are addressed in a planned/place based way.

The first two stages focussed on understanding the policy context and how the services system responds in particular to young people 16 – 24 years of age.
