Pep Talks and Other Bright Spots

First of all, I hope everyone reading this is staying home healthy and safe. Second, if you know how many days we’ve been living this upside-down life, you are already ahead of the game…Bravo!

We are trying to stay positive around here and have found a few things especially helpful: pep talks like this one from beloved Coach Taylor, hilarious videos like this one from my friends Amy and Meg, and ambitious projects like the one launching in our backyard. Oh and a new bracket system for choosing the many many movies we have been watching at home...
Like countless other small businesses, I’ve had to shift my focus during this quarantine. Some projects have been put on hold, while others have a new twist. For the time being, my Sibling Revelry Project is going curbside. For the last two weeks, I have been catching up with alumni, learning how their relationships have changed since they were first featured, and finding out how quarantine life is treating them. It’s been so nice to see these friendly faces again, even if it’s from a distance. I would love for you to follow along on Instagram!
What is helping you stay sane these days? Drop me a line...I love hearing from y’all!
Other things I'm enjoying from my sofa:

When an Austin musician asks fans to send him their quarantine videos.
Bob Schneider / 40 Dogs

The next best thing to photographing an actual wedding.
LEGO Nuptials

I have yet to buy gear, but I’m officially a fan.
Marble Racing: Who Knew?
