Hi! My name is Ricky Ricardo.
I'm in desperate need of spinal decompression surgery. My mom cares for me around the clock and has been trying to raise money for my surgery. She has raised close to $2000 already, but my surgery is estimated to be over $7000. We have already paid $1280 out of pocket for my vet care, medicine and an extensive exam with my Neurologist.

I am the best boy ever, but was abandoned 5-6 times. Now I have the best mom who saved me, though she says I saved her. I hope to be visit nursing homes this Spring and bring lots of smiles, which I'm quite good at.

My mom and my sister Lucy needs me to get better so we can have family time again. I also need out of this dang kennel. I am so playful and really love to show off all the awesome tricks I can do.

I'm only four years old and desperately want a chance to live a full life. Can you help me?

Thank you so much for reading about me.
Ricky has disk disease. The disk is compressing on his spine. He can not have chiropractic care or acupuncture at this time as his Neurologist and two very reputable vets said it could cause serious harm due to his condition.

Although he is under pain management, he still has episodes where his head drops and his front legs fold and he goes right down and locks up, screaming in pain. He has only had one of those episodes since seeing the Neurologist on January 16th.

When this happens,it brings me to my knees with uncontrollable sobbing.
It's imperative that he has his surgery within the next three weeks as being on so many meds is not good for a long period of time.

I'm on disability and have spent almost $1300.00.  There is no possible way that I can come up with those funds.
