David preaches on the New Covenant in Jeremiah 31, which is fulfilled in Jesus Christ, who is the New Covenant, the crowning achievement of God’s merciful, gracious redemption of the world. The John passage deals with the necessity of a seed to be planted and die as a seed in order for it to be transformed into a healthy plant that produces fruit. This is a powerful metaphor of what a Christian must go through to become one: we die with Christ to the power of sin and death and are raised with him as a new creation capable of great mercy, love, and empathy.

We are so grateful for the generous contributions to help the Raleigh Dream Center. Thanks to you, we collected $765.00, which turned into hundreds of canned items, diapers, and wipes - wow! And add to that a donation of $78 to their food pantry. The center operates a mobile food pantry and a food warehouse, which provides nearly 40,000 pounds of food a week to local communities.
Planning mode for 2022 church envelopes: To save money, we order our church giving envelopes by March 31, 2021 for 2022. This year, we plan to order out of numerical sequence, not ordering boxes for people who don't use them. If you would like giving envelopes for 2022, would you email Virginia by March 29th and let her know?
Trinity's elders, deacons, and staff are praying for you, your loved ones, and your friends. If you should have a care concern or celebration you'd like to share, please email David or the church office.

Celebration! Elaine Wolf is home after successful kidney transplant surgery! Following doctor's orders, Elaine, David and Katie are in strict quarantine for 30 days. They are more grateful than you can imagine for all the prayers, good wishes, cards, and messages from the congregation!

Early this week, Virginia Raby will see an oncologist to determine a treatment plan for a mass discovered via CT scan this past Friday. Please keep Virginia and her family in your prayers as she waits to learn about her next steps.
Please note that the church is closed for in-person activities through April 30, 2021.
