We welcome 'our' David back to the pulpit! David strikes a comparison between 'lifeboat ethics' and the teachings of a familiar parable. He offers us an opportunity to reflect... is our love limited? What does God say about love?
We are very grateful for the participation of the Baildon family and Linda Breazeale - thank you! And this service wouldn't be possible without Mike Lhotsky, Frank Breazeale, and Nancy Elder sharing their time and talents. They are a blessing!
Session has suspended activities held at Trinity through September 20, 2020.
Please know that Trinity's elders, deacons, and staff are praying for you, your loved ones, and your friends as we follow state guidelines to restrict the spread of Covid-19. If you should have a care concern or celebration you'd like to share, please email David or the church office.
A note shared with us from Becky Everett: "Just wanted to give you an update on my sister's husband, David Culberson. Last Thursday the family was told that he would not make it through the night, all of his organs were shutting down. They said it would take a miracle for him to make. Well the prayer change was sent out and our awesome God answered our prayers. David went home from the hospital yesterday. Every single doctor and nurse said he should not be here, he has had a miraculous turn around. He is still under care of his heart doctor. They will be monitor everything more closely. They have talked to him about an update pacemaker, a heart pump, or a heart transplant, but they are holding off on all but have that as an option if needed in the future. My sister and her husband, Ann and David, said to tell everyone thank you for you prayers and continue to pray for complete healing."
Happy news: Virginia and Andy Raby celebrated their 37th wedding anniversary on September 4th.
Missy, our Preschool Director, and her teachers have been taking every step possible to keep the children, their parents, and themselves safe. Please join us in praying that all Preschool participants have an awesome, safe, invigorating fall semester! Preschool opens on Tuesday, September 8th.
As we continue to pay the church's unchanging monthly obligations, we remain sincerely grateful for your giving. Your faithfulness, generosity, and helpfulness are more than appreciated! As a staff note, Virginia continues to check the mail (and voicemail) as she is able.
We recognize that for many people this is an uncertain time, and know that you may not have the income you had before the pandemic. If you find yourself in a difficult position and would like to request financial assistance from the church, please write a confidential email to David.
