We have had many new experiences that we never imagined when this year began, haven't we? Some we never hope to have again! However in today's worship, David shares a joyful constant that we always have had and always will have. Please join David, Nancy, Frank, and Lexi for this encouraging service. Oh! And the Children's Sermon includes a visit from the irrepressible Izzy, too.
North Carolina's shelter-in-place order remains in effect. Several phases of reopening activities have been detailed, each phase based upon empirical evidence of safety for our communities. Therefore, all in-person church activities - services, meetings, programs - remain suspended until further notice.
Please know that Trinity's elders, deacons, and staff are praying for you, your loved ones, and your friends as we all stay home to help ease the burden on our hospitals, urgent care centers, and their medical and support staff. If you should have a need you'd like to share, please email David or the church office.
Please pray for a full and swift recovery for Lisa Baildon’s sister, Jeanette Fryer, who is hospitalized in Gastonia. Lisa has traveled to Gastonia to visit her.
Please pray for a successful surgery and comfort while healing for Ralph Everett, who will have surgery on his foot on Monday, May 4th.
We are deeply saddened to share that Robin Overcash’s brother, Sam Mills, passed away while in hospice care in Georgia. He had recently been diagnosed with cancer in the liver, bile duct, and then the pancreas. He would have turned 66 this past Saturday. Please keep Robin and her whole family in your prayers during this time of deep sadness; may God grant them all comfort and peace.
As we continue to pay the church's unchanging monthly obligations, we remain sincerely grateful for your giving. Your faithfulness, generosity, and helpfulness are more than appreciated!
If you find yourself in a difficult position and would like to request financial assistance from the church, please write a confidential email to David.
