All the dramatic elements are there. An unforgiving servant ! An unpayable debt! Forgiveness! Callous behavior! It's not a new show to stream, but a story which reveals itself as we lean into a portion of the Lord's Prayer. We invite you to join David, Nancy, Frank, and Bill and Lois Mercer for this Sunday's worship. If it helps, here's a worship order that you can print or view online; it includes brief announcements and updated giving information. And remember to have your bread and juice or water on hand for communion.

Session has suspended activities held at Trinity through September 20, 2020.

Please know that Trinity's elders, deacons, and staff are praying for you, your loved ones, and your friends as we follow state guidelines to restrict the spread of Covid-19. If you should have a care concern or celebration you'd like to share, please email David or the church office

Celebration! After a delay due to Covid-19, Wingate University's Music Department held their Junior Class recitals on September 4th. We're proud to share the link to Kayla Pierce's beautiful recital. Tap here to listen.

All of us at Trinity send our love and support to the students and teachers who have returned to class in all the different forms due to the virus, which has led to new procedures and experiences. Please join us in praying for the health, patience, and support from family for our children and youth, and the same for our teachers, plus support from their colleagues and administration.

We ask that you keep Lillie Pearce's daughter, Karen Loveland, in your prayers. Karen has seen specialists for a lump on the side of her neck, and will soon be scheduled for a CT scan. Please pray for discernment, healing, and a sense of calm and peace for Karen, Lillie, and their family.

Richard Piazza is scheduled to have surgery next week in order to remove a Vena Cava Filter from a main vein by his heart. It's a delicate operation, and Laura asks that we pray all goes smoothly and that Richard comes through the procedure well, without any lingering complications.

Please pray for Bobby Nelson's continued recovery from a serious fall. He's as optimistic as ever, but your prayers for healing would be much appreciated.

Meredith Anderson is partially through her quarantine, after being diagnosed with Covid-19. Please pray for Meredith's speedy recovery and peace of mind.

Please continue to keep Kitty Barco's nephew Brandon Moody in your prayers. He has finished his course of chemotherapy for brain cancer, which is a milestone, but there is more work ahead. Kitty's sister shares that the next step would be a bone marrow transplant. Please pray for Brandon's comfort, his stamina to endure, and the best outcome possible.

Becky Everett's brother-in-law, David Culberson, is home, much to the joy of his family, after spending time in the hospital in very serious condition. He and his wife Ann thank you for your prayers and ask that we continue to pray for complete healing for David.

As we continue to pay the church's unchanging monthly obligations, we remain sincerely grateful for your giving. Louise Taff, our Receiving Treasurer, is checking the mail frequently each week, making the deposits for the church. If you have questions about your giving, please email Louise.

We recognize that for many people this is an uncertain time, and know that you may not have the income you had before the pandemic. If you find yourself in a difficult position and would like to request financial assistance from the church, please write a confidential email to David.
