Saving Bookstores, Saving Lives
In Mid-March of this year Mystery to Me sent off a request to receive a small portion of grant funds being awarded by James Patterson's "Saving Bookstores..." campaign. You can read more about his campaign by clicking on his name here. It's because of YOU, our incredible customers who support the store, that Mystery to Me will be receiving $5,000 to design, build and stock new bookcases for our children and young adult sections.
The award was announced today, Wednesday, May 28 at the Book Expo in New York City. Erin Nagy (our social media maven) was on hand to receive the check and send out a few tweets and Facebook posts!
If you're creative, fun and can offer some design ideas for adding shelves to our limited space (or perhaps you know someone who can), please contact the very happy Joanne Berg at Joanne.firstname.lastname@example.org.
Mr. Patterson's grants are awarded based on customer support. A special thank you to all of you who took the time to visit his website to support Mystery to Me.
We hope to see you in the store soon!
