Hello <<First Name>>,

Welcome to our January newsletter, and happy new year! In the last month, we have launched a new website for an independent clothing store, and we have been blogging about why companies should share news of their Christmas celebrations (and other special events) online.

In December we launched a new website for Stumper & Fielding. This retailer based in Portobello Road, London, sells traditional English clothing with a contemporary twist. The ecommerce website reflects the boutique’s classic British style.

Spotlight: How Can Your Skills Help

Improve Your Online Marketing?

Digital marketing requires a combination of different skills, and it may be that you possess one or several of those skills but aren’t using them to your advantage online just yet. So what are these skills, and how can you harness them to help improve your business’s online presence?
Creativity - From writing adverts, website content and social media posts, to designing display ads, to thinking of interesting and relevant campaigns – marketing requires a lot of creativity. If you have an artistic flair, your input could help your business to shape its next website design or ad campaign.
Customer service - Having customer service skills means you know how to keep customers happy. You can think from their point of view, and respond to queries courteously and efficiently. With customer service growing evermore public thanks to social media, it’s more important than ever to maintain the company image and provide a great experience through customer service.
Sales - If you’ve worked in sales, you’ll know the importance of understanding your customers and their needs. You’ll realise that the most important thing is the benefits your product offers your customer, rather than the product itself. This means your input into website copy ideas can be very valuable.
IT - If you’ve worked in IT or consider yourself to be very computer savvy, you can probably pick up new technology quite quickly. So when it comes to the latest video and image creation tools, social media sites or learning how to use your website’s new ecommerce platform, you may find yourself becoming the go-to person for explaining how things work.
Finance - You don't need to be an accountant to be a marketer, but having a head for numbers could certainly help. For example, if you're dealing with paid promotions you’ll be able to manage a budget effectively, and you may also be able to make sense of large quantities of data about your website and its traffic.
At SilverDisc we are multi-skilled and we all come from a range of different backgrounds. From website development to content writing to data analysis, our skills enable us to provide an all-inclusive online marketing service – we’ve got you covered! If you're short on time or expertise, get in touch to find out how we can help you.

That’s all for this month! If you have any questions or comments, please email See you next time!

All the best,
