Dear friends,
We had a very nice time in the United States visiting our family, Leah and Ian really enjoyed seeing their cousins, uncles, and grandparents. Besides making a snowman and playing outside in the cold for a few days, one of the most fun experiences for them was going tubing for the first time. We thank God for the time we spent with our family for Christmas.
Back in Mexico City on January 21, I took some students in our already traditional ascent to Pico del Águila for the beginning of the year, this is the highest mountain in Mexico City with 12800 ft above sea level. For most of them it was the first time they had done an activity of this type, everyone was very happy when we reached the top.
On the other hand, on Tuesday, January 24, I had to take Liz to the ER for an injury in her shoulder that caused her very intense pain. That same day they had to do surgery to repair a damaged ligament-muscle. Everything went well and Liz after 3 days in the hospital is at home recovering, it will be approx. 9-12 weeks of recovery. We are glad that the insurance covered most of the expenses.
Thank you very much for teaming up with us so that other people know Christ as their Lord and Savior, your prayers and financial support are a blessing to us. Prayer Requests: - For Liz's recovery, may she return to 100% recovery soon.
- Also for Ian, he fell while playing soccer and the doctor put a splint on him to immobilize his leg for two weeks, at the moment he is at home.
- That this beginning of the year we can see more people knowing Christ as their lord and savior.
