On Saturday May 1st we finished our 8 week training class called MC2. Together with students from 9 different cities in Mexico, we learned how to share our faith in simple ways with people from our relational network that God has put in our path to help them know Jesus. During this time in total we had 282 spiritual conversations, 128 evangelisms and 24 decisions for Christ. Within these decisions, Miguel, one of the participants, for several weeks followed the process of learning together with his best friend who did not know Jesus, but the last week Miguel shared the gospel with him and that day his best friend accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior! Now they will start discipleship together. We give glory to God for the people who accepted Christ as Lord and Savior during these weeks and who are going to start a discipleship process with the people who shared with them. Thank you for praying with us these weeks.
On the family side during the Easter holidays we took the opportunity to rest and visit a lookout called the fourth dynamo to the South of the city, the view of the city is incredible from there. Also two weeks ago Leah and Ian went back to online schooling to finish the school year and thus have an official report card to make their enrollment easier for the next school year, although it has been an adjustment these days, they are happy to see their friends from school. Thank you very much for all your prayer and financial support, we are very grateful for your generosity at this time.
We want to share with you that we are going to go to Wisconsin to visit our family after more than 2 years of not going since we had to cancel our trip last year, we leave on June 8.
Prayer requests: - So that the new believers can commit to grow in their new relationship with Christ.
- May God continue to use us in the lives of students even as we continue to do everything virtually.
- For the details of our trip to the US, we still need to get Ian's passport from the US, pray for an appointment to be opened at the US embassy in Mexico City.
