Join us for Plein Air Painting
Blind Pass Beach
6725 Manasota Key Road
Englewood, FL 34223
MONDAY, October 20 @ 8:30 A.M.
We will be painting at Blind Pass Beach on Manasota Key. Often referred to as Middle Beach, this expansive spit of sand is ideal for swimming, shelling, fishing, boating and hiking. Featuring 60 acres gulf to bay with 2,900 feet of gulf beach frontage Blind Pass has plenty of free parking with wheel chair access, picnic tables, showers and restrooms. Hidden away, this beach… with no lifeguards… offers plenty of privacy and opportunity to commune with nature. Artists, fishermen and anyone looking for peace, quiet and perhaps a muse flock here to take in all the serene sights and sounds. If you go out on the beach, you will have good views of the charming Hermitage Artist Retreat which is a gray clapboard beach bungalow dating back to 1907. Its varied history includes that of a nudist colony in the 1930s.
