Kia ora,

Earlier this week, Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern announced our next downwards shift was to 'Delta' Level 2 — a toughened version of the lower tier of restrictions.

While health and medical facilities remain open during all Alert Levels, here's a breakdown of what 'Delta' Level 2 means for your health care:

  • We are required to ensure you record your visit to our practice.
  • Face coverings are mandatory for everyone aged 12 and over in our practice.
  • We encourage everyone to keep 2 metres apart from people you don't know while in our practice.

At Alert Level 2, there's still work to do. Everyone has a part to play in minimising the risk of transmission and stopping the spread.

With this in mind, we encourage everyone to keep making use of our telehealth options where appropriate. Our clinical team can help you with most issues over the phone and easily schedule an in-person visit if necessary.

Finally, it's important to remember everyone responds and copes with Alert Level changes differently. While the downwards shift may feel like a relief to some, others may find it challenging and need reassurance and support.
