Edition n30 | October - November - December 2016
Dear partners, dear readers,
For the Monegasque Cooperation, the end of 2016 was marked by the Prince's Government's highest representatives' visit to Madagascar - a country of intervention that has benefited from our development cooperation policy for more than 10 years. This visit allowed for the significant strengthening of cooperation ties that unite the two countries, particularly in the field of health.
Whilst announcing his best wishes for the New Year, H.S.H. Prince Albert II announced his renewed desire to "work on the international stage, so that the commitments made in the environmental, humanitarian, health and educational fields be upheld and consolidated", whilst reiterating "our responsibility to commit to strong action, necessary for future generations".
In 2017, marked by the 10 year anniversary of the Department of International Cooperation, we will continue to strive for cooperation policies that are ever more efficient and responsible.
My colleagues and I come together to wish you an excellent 2017, brimming with solidarity.
Bénédicte Schutz, Directeur de la Coopération Internationale
