💘 The weekend of love led to big announcements for these local celebrities

Plus, where to find Orlando’s best patios, all in one place.

Happy Tuesday, folks.

We’re looking at a high of 70 degrees today with lows in the mid-50s thanks to that overnight rainstorm. In my humble opinion, that is some peak patio-sitting weather. And speaking of patios, Bungalower just released a map of good patio hangs around Orlando, which reminds me of tonight’s beer pairing dinner at The Aardvark. The last time I was there I sat outside, ordered some ridiculously delish fish dish, listened to live music, and for a moment, it felt like all was actually well with the world.

As of writing, there are still a few tickets left, and $50 gets you a four-course meal with four tasty local brews plus drinks for the early birds. If it sells out before you get your ticket, just know that I gave you a head’s up in yesterday’s podcast. Wanna make sure you never miss Pulptown’s Top 5 recommended events of the week again? You should subscribe to 15 Minutes in Pulptown. 😉 (I have no shame about shameless plugging.)

Here’s hoping your Tuesday is extra sweet. Thanks for the tag, @wtgrub | 📸 Wanna see your photo here? Tag either #pulptown or @pulptown on Instagram to be featured as our IG of the Day!

One more thing

📸 @gingersbakingco

It’s Fat Tuesday y’all, and it’s already the weirdest one I can remember in some time. As someone who worked in the hospitality industry for 15 years, I would be all but tapped out on Abita Purple Haze by now. With that said, this was the first year ever that the city of New Orleans cancelled the event. Instead, N’awlins is promoting Yardi Gras (check out the trending hashtag on IG— New Orleanians got really creative).

Anyway, I’m just wondering where you’re going to order from tonight — will it be Tibby’s or King Cajun? The Big Easy or L.A. Boiling Seafood? And if you’re looking for King Cake, Mandy’s got ya covered. 👆

K, that’s all for today. See ya back here tomorrow!
