Dear Hope Giver,

I always love sharing with you the encouraging stories of the women at Hope House that we are able to help…it’s the reason why we do what we do!  Each time we get a new resident, my heart is overjoyed with gratitude that we get the opportunity to help them on their road to freedom.

As a mother, it’s hard for me to imagine that the very freedom that my children get to experience everyday isn’t the same for these girls. Some are sold into slavery by their own family very young…even their mother…THIS IS NOT OKAY!

I am sure that many of us will be showered with sweet gifts or will purchase that special item for the moms in our world, but this Mother’s Day let’s remember the girls at Hope House. Remember the victims of Human Trafficking who may not have a mother, or women who have children but because of being entrapped in slavery, had to give them up and don’t know where they are.  This is the story for one of our girls who doesn’t even know where her children are…Mother’s Day is usually a sad day for her, but we get to bring HOPE and let her know that she is valued as a mother!

Let’s remember her on this Mother’s Day and be her hope.   As a mom, it’s my mission to make sure these girls feel loved and have someone in their world they can believe in…WILL YOU JOIN ME?
Xoxo,
