FarmSmart - project to assist local farmers

TAFCO has partnered with the North East CMA, Rural City of Wangaratta, the Alpine Shire and the Dept. of Agriculture (DEDJTR) and others, to bring a number of workshops aiming to improve farm sustainability in a natural environment.  With a focus on soil health, we will be asking for input as to what the key industry issues are that you face, to see if the project can assist through the resources we have.

TAFCO welcomes Cindy Lucas and Julian Carroll to the FarmSmart project.  They will be sharing this casual position to co-ordinate a series of workshops and field days around soil health and farm sustainability across local agriculture and horticulture industries.

The TAFCO Newsletter will be the main communication tool so watch this space as we bring you activities, workshops and field days over the next 12 months.
