Cultivate GROW Observatory in Ireland
Cultivate is happy to announce its role as the Irish partner in GROW Observatory, a European-wide project supporting the emergence of a movement of citizens sharing knowledge and data on soil.
People of all ages and backgrounds are being invited to become ‘citizen scientists’ and take practical steps to preserve the soil for future generations as well as help with forecasting and preparing for climate events, such as heat waves and floods, by validating the detection of soil moisture from satellites.
Cultivate is broadcasting a call to action for all allotment & small farm holders, and anyone involved in a community or school garden to get involved by going to www.growobservatory.org or emailing firstname.lastname@example.org for more details.
