A gift and a curse...
2020 has been hard on my friends and family and so many around the world. It feels like a curse. I know three friends who lost their parents to the coronavirus during the pandemic. I’ve had multiple friends communicate their mental health struggles to me during the pandemic. I’ve listened, I’ve supported and I’ve given love. It’s all we can do. Show up, show empathy and support your people — and support those who aren't your people, because they need it too! Although it feels like there is no end in sight, just keep being there for one another! 
 
At the same time, 2020 for me personally, has been a gift. First of all, the apple of my eye was born! My daughter Nola Bea Kinslow-Womble was born in the most challenging year of our lifetime. She was born the day before the late great Kobe Bryant died. That’s how we started 2020….ahhhh! Getting to spend every day of the first year of her life with her has literally been the best part of 2020.

1. I launched my life coaching business and coached 3 clients to make life changing decisions for the better!

2. I helped launch a podcast with three other men — two of whom I’ve never met in person, but we all share a common friend who is the leader of our podcast. The Men Up podcast is about leadership and life!

4. I created the Empathy World Order (EWO) movement! In the summer of 2019 I set out to make the world a more empathetic place by giving talks, workshops and selling empathy merch!
