Passion for Leadership Partners
with Coolspeak (2 Min Read)

I signed an exclusive contract with to be one of the main speakers on their roster!  I've worked with them for a while now and honestly can say they are like family.  We share vested interest in supporting the lives of young people.  Carlos Ojeda Jr., Ernesto Mejia, and the Coolspeak family have been mentors to me for years.  Now as peers, they are going to support me in becoming the expert around passion!  We're talking books, workbooks, apps and more opportunities to impact young people all over America.

I will say one thing, this is a huge opportunity but it only came because the work I've put in the last 9 years.  It came because of my personal growth, welcoming coaching and committing to getting better at my craft.  It takes time, it always has and always will.  When you think you've "made it", you've already lost.  The work only begins when major opportunities come your way.  Do not forget that.  Things are never as great as they seem and never as bad as they seem.  The constant has to be your commitment, your effort, and your relentlessness to be greatest version of yourself you can be doing what you love to do the most!

Just to be clear, this changes nothing about how you and I work together.  Passion for Leadership is alive and well.  Coolspeak will handle all of my non-college event bookings going forward but feel free to reach out to me and I will put you directly in touch with them to bring me to your event.

The Future Project Update

On March 10th, I launched the How to Start a Business Challenge with 7 classes part of a socio-emotional/academic support program in my school called 7 SEAS.  The challenge began with a launch workshop about how to start a business.  We followed that up with classroom visits to brainstorm business ideas and to teach students about profits and margins.  The last event was the business pitch presentations that happened on April 21st.  We had 2 dope entrepreneurs as judges, Sharktank theme music and delivered a check to the business teams that wrote grants to fund their business.  Students came up with 3 businesses:

1) On Fleek Tees (cultural based tshirt line)
2) Raffle Off  (on-going raffle for cool products)
3) School Store (food and supplies store in school)
