Hi there,
My life continues to be fairly predictable: work, write, and then fry under the Florida sun. I'm thankful this month is nearly over, but I'm excited to share a new slate of writings.

I wrote six new articles this week on my quest to 30 straight. As you may have noticed, I missed a day. It's REALLY hard to be consistent every day, but it's been a great learning experience. That's really the story of this month...EVERY damn day.

My favorite article of the week is Morning Pages Will Unlock Your Writing Powers. If you're interested in journaling or starting to write, I encourage you to take a look:

In The Artist’s Way, Julia Cameron explains that morning pages are “three pages of longhand writing, strictly stream-of-consciousness…there is no wrong way to do morning pages.”

By putting in the work, we “undertake certain spiritual exercises to achieve alignment with the creative energy of the universe.” It’s like speaking our truth and providing an opportunity for the world to answer.

Here is a quick summary of everything that I published this week: If you're interested in following along daily, I post all articles on and share them in this Twitter thread.

Please let me know if anything resonates!
GRVAT Update

I'm running virtually across Tennessee in the Great Virtual Race Across Tennessee (GRVAT). 635 miles between May 1 until August 31st.

We're in the final week. 6 days and 46 miles. I look forward to reflecting on this mistaken adventure next week.

Quote of the Week

"Perfectionism has nothing to do with getting it right. It has nothing to do with fixing things. It has nothing to do with standards. Perfectionism is a refusal to let yourself move ahead. It is a loop—an obsessive, debilitating closed system that causes you to get stuck in the details of what you are writing or painting or making and to lose sight of the whole."

- Julia Cameron, The Artist's Way
Until next week, stay safe, sane, and intentional.
