What's new at SCYAP

Saskatoon Community Youth Arts Programming Board of Directors and staff would like to take this time to wish everyone all the best in 2021.  SCYAP would especially like to express our extreme gratitude for the ongoing and continuous support of our Government, Foundations, and Corporate sponsors.  And to all the individuals who made monetary and supply donations to SCYAP throughout  the 2020 calendar year, it is truly your generosity that makes a difference in the lives of others.

The SCYAP building hours are 12pm and 4pm Monday to Friday plus drop-in on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3pm to 6pm.  We are following Covid- 19 protocols (so masks please) and limiting the number of bodies in the building to 10, however we are still a great place to drop-in and create some art.  As we have mentioned before we have creative content on our website for those who want to keep busy at home. Here are the links where the content can be found.
Spirit of Our Ancestors, SCYAP's latest mural project installed on the North side of O'Shea's restaurant.  Special thanks to the contributing artists Michelle Pritchard, Asini Duquette, Sean Kiskotagan, Sheena LaPlante and April Doepker.  And to Pirate Signs' graphic artist April Doepker (same April) for compiling the individual images and creating the finished mural, which were printed on vinyl and laminated with a graffiti protection laminate.
SCYAP would also like to thank the sponsors of the project, City of Saskatoon, Downtown Saskatoon Business Improvement District, and O'Shea's Restaurant.
