Dear <<First Name>>,

It's homecoming weekend...

When our alumni, family and friends are invited "home".

What makes a place feel like home? Is it the roominess? The elegance? The design or beauty? Most probably NOT! Home is where you can just be yourself, and take up as much space as you want.

In order for people to feel 'at home' even when they are guests, the host must 'make room' for them in their heart. When the host doesn't 'take up space', the guests can feel at home!
So RSVP now and come over tonight to your HOME away from home!
This could be one of the reasons that Judaism places a tremendous emphasis on hosting guests, 'caring for the stranger', giving and kindness. These actions condition us to take up less space and give more to others.

Interestingly enough, the less 'space' one takes up, the 'bigger they become! The less consumed we are with ourselves, the more we notice the gifts and skills that we have, and we do more, we accomplish more and we contribute to make this world a better place!

Shabbat dinner is at 7 PM. All your Jewish family and friends are welcome to join us at our home!

RSVP appreciated, but not necessary. Come and enjoy a delicious homemade 4-course meal, great company and feel the Chabad energy - "Where Every Jew is Family"!

Shabbat Shalom!

Rabbi Mendy & Sara Alevsky
