Chinese update
Nursery learned a song about traffic light. Reception learned and made a furniture book. Year 2 proudly presented their own book of Chinese characters. Year 5 learned the ancient Chinese story of ‘Jīng Gōng Zhī Niǎo’ (惊弓之鸟) and tried their best to retell it in a very traditional Chinese way ‘Píng Shū’ (评书).....

EAL Update
There has been lots going on in the EAL Department since the Chinese New Year holiday. In Key Stage 1 children have been talking about pets. They have been discussing their favourite pets and using adjectives to describe them. In Key Stage 2 our topic has been Danger! The children have been developing their English skills whilst learning about the role the emergency services play.
