June Update

At this year's PHA Conference, Team PH not only got to present a $16,330 check for research, but we also got to introduce our new executive director, Chris Field, to the PH community. Thank you for stopping by our booth to welcome him! And for those who shared your #phstory with us, we'll be posting these #CommunityMicroPHone videos to our social networks and the Team PH website over the coming weeks.

SPECIAL SECTION:

A Message from the New Director of Team PHenomenal Hope

The 2016 PH Association International Bi-Annual Conference & Medical Sessions exhibit was held mid-June in Dallas, Texas. The conference was a celebration of the lives of those living with pulmonary hypertension and their caregivers, and it was a celebration of the profound impact outgoing PHA President and CEO Rino Aldrighetti has had over his 17 years of service to the PH community. As the new Executive Director of Team PHenomenal Hope, this event was a comprehensive welcome for me to the special family created by pulmonary hypertension, including its patients, caregivers, physicians, pharmaceutical representatives, research scientists, general wellness advocates, and a wide range of related industry supporters and professionals.

Meanwhile, Katrin has just finished a sprint triathlon. Axel and Katrin are taking on every training opportunity as they prepare for July's Rad am Ring!

Follow their training and Rad am Ring ride here, and don't forget to support their Crowdrise campaign here, or here if you are in Germany!
