Fortnightly Update #6 - 22.07.2016

Welcome to my latest update. It's been another momentous fortnight in British politics. A new Prime Minister has taken office, and gave a   swashbuckling performance at PMQs which took many by surprise. Meanwhile, here in Cheltenham, it's been as busy as ever with updates on the railway station, broadband and much more.

If you're unable to read further, do you know of any young people (aged 16-19) in Cheltenham who are want to boost their CVs this summer whilst improving their knowledge of the democratic process?

I am running my third student internship week (16-19 August) after successful courses in the last two years. There will be opportunities for students to try their hand at a mock parliamentary speech, have a go at debating in the Council chamber, and learn about how Parliament works. Plus prizes!

Please send applications to Nicky Sadler on Thank you for reading.

Best wishes,

Alex Chalk MP
