With LED lighting technology continually evolving, Greenville County School District has elected to blaze the trail in the widespread implementation of this technology throughout their schools countywide. Burdette Engineering, Inc. facilitated the design, and is now overseeing the completion of the bidding and installation of LED retrofit lighting for 70 schools in the district.

Gunter Theater
Lighting & Dimming Upgrade
Greenville, SC
As part of the Peace Center in downtown Greenville, Gunter Theater underwent a lighting and dimming upgrade. Among the services provided, Burdette designed new LED work lighting and blue LED pathway lighting on the stage. In conjunction, Burdette designed the replacement of the existing halogen performance lighting with new LED performance lighting.

Beware of Arc-Flash
AVX Corporation
Fountain Inn, SC
Burdette completed a study to determine the level of protection employees of AVX Corporation required to be adequately prepared in the event of an arc-flash incident in the workplace. This will allow the company to comply with NFPA 70, Part 2 which requires them to provide an "electrically safe work condition" and educate their personnel accordingly.

Jeremy Tatham
We are proud to announce that the start of 2018 has also marked the beginning of Jeremy's addition to the Burdette Family. Jeremy joins us from Jacobs Engineering in Greenville and brings his 10 years of experience in the industrial, manufacturing and commercial markets. Jeremy is a graduate of Clemson University and in his off time enjoys trying his hand at golf, spending time with family and friends and you may just see him riding his bike along the Swamp Rabbit.
