This 13,750 SF renovation included a new coffee shop, expanded student seating/dining areas, new offices and student work rooms and a redesigned book store for student textbooks and school merchandise. Burdette designed the lighting and lighting controls systems, power and fire alarm system as well as provided construction management services to ensure a quality installation.

New Softball, Tennis, Swimming Complex
Anderson University
Anderson, SC
Play ball or take a dip at the new Athletic Complex recently completed in time for Fall 2015 students. Burdette provided the electrical design for the power and sports lighting of new softball and tennis facilities as well as a new pool. Parking lot lighting and general exterior illumination for the campus were also provided in addition to telecommunications conduit for future access to the new facilities.

State of the Art Library
Limestone College
Gaffney, SC
This new library will replace the current A. J. Eastwood Library built in 1966. Burdette is providing the complete electrical design for this facility to include lighting, telecommunications, fire alarm, HVAC power and site lighting. The library plans to break ground this year for completion in early 2016.

Our Team
Chris Mahaffey
Chris celebrated his 20th anniversary with Burdette Engineering, Inc. in August. He remains our senior project engineer with over 27 years in the industry. His experience is extremely varied with a slight emphasis in our commercial and industrial markets. Chris is an alumni of Clemson University, is married with a son and a daughter and has called Greenville his home for 28 years. In his spare time he enjoys at-home projects and is a long-time active member of First Baptist Church of Simpsonville, SC.
