IABC/Toronto renames Student of the Year Award

We’re pleased to announce that the Student of the Year (SOTY) award is now called the IABC/Toronto Bobbie Resnick Student of the Year Award. Renamed in honour of Bobbie Resnick, one of the founders of IABC/Toronto, the award will serve as a tribute to her many years of service as a volunteer and mentor.
Bobbie Resnick started her career in 1957, working in a variety of communication specialties in the corporate world and as an independent consultant. She was also a teacher sharing her skills with clients, colleagues and students.

Bobbie is now retired and living in Michigan.
This annual award will be presented at the OVATION Awards Gala on May 31, 2017.
