REMINDER COVID-CHECK EVENT
As elaborated in our last newsletter, we need to check your certificate when you enter the site to ensure the safety of everyone. Here is a reminder of the rules that will apply during the festival:
- You will have to carry your certificate that you are either vaccinated, recovered from the illness or tested. (Covid Check rules: https://covid19.public.lu/en/covidcheck/certificate.html). You will NOT be able to enter the area without a negative certificate. We will NOT offer some kind of “fast tests”, please foresee to have a PCR test.
- Normal races and trails will be available in a common starting block everyone will start at the same time, but you need to keep a distance of 2m.
- You will have to carry and to wear your mask at the following places and every time you can’t respect the 2m rule: starting block, refreshment points, finishing line.
- In case of cancellation of this "normal" Agora Red Rock Challenge event due of Covid-19, we let you choose between these options during your registration:
- You could participate automatically into a "virtual" edition, like 2020 & Agora Red Rock Challenge gives you a certain % of the registration fees back.
- You like to transfer your booking automatically to the next edition of the Agora Red Rock Challenge 2022. Nothing will be refunded.
- You are free to donate your registration fees to the "Fondation Kriibskrank Kanner" (foundation supporting children with cancer illness).

MINETT UNESCO BIOSPHERE
MINETT UNESCO BIOSPHERE has officially become part of the worldwide network of biosphere reserves.
On 28 October 2020, the Minett region was recognised by UNESCO as a biosphere reserve. Luxembourg is now part of the scientific MAB programme, which was founded in the 1970s. In 2021, there were 714 biosphere reserves in 129 countries. Thanks to the worldwide network, they can share their experience and knowledge with each other.
The biosphere reserve is managed by PRO-SUD, an inter-municipal syndicate consisting of the 11 municipalities that together form the MINETT UNESCO BIOSPHERE. The main objectives of PRO-SUD are the sustainable development and promotion of the identity of the southern region through the implementation of territorial strategies and the improvement of the living environment of the region's inhabitants.
Discover the MINETT TRAIL in 2022
The MINETT TRAIL will be a 90k hiking trail through the region, connecting several interesting places.
Different entry and exit points will allow you to flexibly plan your own adventure. A very special concept is being developed for overnight stays along the trail! You can wind down the day and spend the night in exceptional accommodation, the "Kabaisercher", along the way.

COVID-CHECK REMINDER
Wie schon in der letzten Newsletter erwähnt, müssen wir Ihr Covid-check Zertifikat prüfen, da wir die Sicherheit aller gewährleisten wollen. Hier noch einmal zur Erinnerung die Covid-Check Maßnahmen:
- Sie müssen Ihre Bescheinigung der Impfung, Genesung oder einen negativen Test mit sich tragen. (Covid-Check-Regeln: https://covid19.public.lu/en/covidcheck/certificate.html). Ohne ein negatives Zertifikat können Sie die Eventstätte NICHT betreten. Wir werden KEINE Schnelltests anbieten, bitte planen Sie einen PCR-Test im Voraus ein.
- Die Rennen und Trails werden in einem gemeinsamen Startblock angeboten, alle starten relativ zeitgleich. Es sollte aber einen Abstand von 2m eingehalten werden.
- Sie müssen Ihre Maske an folgenden Stellen tragen sowie immer dann, wenn Sie die 2-Meter-Regel nicht einhalten können: Startblock, Verpflegungspunkte, Ziellinie.
- Im Falle einer Absage dieser "normalen" Agora Red Rock Challenge Veranstaltung aufgrund von nationalen Covid-19 Regeln oder Maßnahmen lassen wir Ihnen bei Ihrer Anmeldung die Wahl zwischen folgenden Möglichkeiten:
- Sie könnten automatisch an einer "virtuellen" Ausgabe teilnehmen, wie 2020 & Agora Red Rock Challenge gibt Ihnen einen bestimmten Prozentsatz der Anmeldegebühren zurück.
- Sie können Ihre Buchung automatisch auf die nächste Ausgabe der Agora Red Rock Challenge 2022 übertragen. Es erfolgt keine Rückerstattung.
- Sie können Ihre Teilnahmegebühr an die "Fondation Kriibskrank Kanner" (Stiftung zur Unterstützung krebskranker Kinder) spenden.

MINETT UNESCO BIOSPHERE
MINETT UNESCO BIOSPHERE wurde offiziell in das weltweite Netzwerk der Biosphärenreservate aufgenommen.
Am 28 Oktober 2020 wurde die Minetteregion von der UNESCO als Biosphärenreservat anerkannt. Luxemburg ist von nun an Teil des wissenschaftlichen MAB Programms, das in den 70er Jahren gegründet wurde. 2021 gab es 714 Biosphärenreservate in 129 Ländern. Dank des weltweiten Netzwerks können sie ihre Erfahrungen und ihr Wissen miteinander teilen.
Das Biosphärenreservat wird von PRO-SUD verwaltet, einem interkommunalen Syndikat, dem die 11 Gemeinden angehören, die zusammen die MINETT UNESCO BIOSPHERE bilden. Die Hauptziele von PRO-SUD sind die nachhaltige Entwicklung und die Förderung der Identität der südlichen Region durch die Umsetzung territorialer Strategien und die Verbesserung des Lebensumfelds der Bewohner der Region.
Entdecken Sie 2022 den MINETT TRAIL
Der MINETT TRAIL wird ein 90 Kilometer langer Wanderweg durch die Region sein, der mehrere interessante Orte miteinander verbinden wird.
Verschiedene Ein- und Ausstiegspunkte ermöglichen es Ihnen, Ihr eigenes Abenteuer flexibel zu planen. Für die Übernachtungen entlang der Strecke wird ein ganz besonderes Konzept entwickelt! Sie können den Tag ausklingen lassen und in außergewöhnlichen Unterkünften, den „Kabaisercher“, am Weg übernachten.

RAPPEL COVID-CHECK
Comme communiqué dans notre dernière newsletter, nous sommes obligés de contrôler votre certificat du Covid-Check pour garantir la sécurité de tous les participants. Veuillez retrouver un petit aperçu des mesures ci-dessous :
- Vous devez venir avec votre certificat de vaccination, de rétablissement ou avec un test négatif. (Règlementation: https://covid19.public.lu/fr/covidcheck/certificate.html) Vous NE POUVEZ PAS entrer au lieu de l'événement sans un certificat négatif. Il n’y aura PAS la possibilité de faire un test rapide, veuillez donc planifier un test PCR à l'avance.
- Les courses et les trails sont proposés dans un bloc de départ commun, toutes les personnes vont donc partir en même temps. Cependant, une distance de 2 m doit être respectée.
- Vous devez porter votre masque aux endroits suivants et à chaque fois que vous ne pouvez pas respecter la règle des 2 mètres : bloc de départ, ravitaillement, ligne d'arrivée.
- Lors de votre inscription à l’événement, vous avez le choix entre différentes options dans le cas où l’événement Agora Red Rock Challenge "normal" serait annulé en raison des règles ou mesures nationales Covid-19:
- Vous pouvez participer automatiquement à une édition "virtuelle" comme le 2020 & Agora Red Rock Challenge vous rend un pourcentage des frais d'inscription en retour.
- Vous pouvez automatiquement reporter votre réservation à la prochaine édition de l'Agora Red Rock Challenge 2022. Il n'y aura aucun remboursement.
- Vous pouvez faire une donation du montant de vos frais de participation à la "Fondation Kriibskrank Kanner" (fondation d'aide aux enfants atteints de cancer).

MINETT UNESCO BIOSPHERE
MINETT UNESCO BIOSPHERE a officiellement intégré le réseau mondial des réserves de biosphère.
Le 28 octobre 2020, la région de la Minette est devenue une réserve de biosphère reconnue par l‘UNESCO. Le Luxembourg participe donc désormais au programme scientifique MAB lancé dans les années 70. En été 2021, les réserves de biosphère étaient au nombre de 714 répartis dans 129 pays. Grâce au réseau mondial, elles échangent et partagent leurs expériences et leur savoir-faire.
La réserve de biosphère est gérée par PRO-SUD, un syndicat intercommunal regroupant les 11 communes qui forment ensemble la MINETT UNESCO BIOSPHERE. Les axes de prédilection de PRO-SUD sont le développement durable et la promotion de l’identité de la région Sud en mettant en oeuvre des stratégies territoriales d’intérêt intercommunal pour améliorer le cadre de vie des habitants de la région.
Découvrez le MINETT TRAIL en 2022
Le MINETT TRAIL sera un sentier de randonnée de 90km qui traversera la région et reliera plusieurs endroits de grand intérêt sur son parcours.
Différents points d‘entrée et de sortie vous permettront de planifier votre propre aventure de manière flexible. Pour les nuitées en cours de route, un concept très spécial sera mis au point ! Vous pourrez terminer votre journée et passer la nuit dans des auberges extraordinaires, les „Kabaisercher“, le long du chemin.
