Meet Angy...
Angy is 9 years old from Iquitos, Peru. She is in the third year of primary school. Although she doesn’t have many school supplies, she likes to study and comes faithfully to our Children's Care Centers . She receives a warm meal, sound biblical teaching, and appropriate affection. What does Angy pray for? Improvements to her little wooden house, sometimes the rains destroy it. The worry is real and palpable for this small child.
"And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house, but it did not fall, because it had been founded on The Rock." Matthew 7:25
How do we help?  Su Refugio Ministries works hard to meet the physical  and emotional needs of "orphans and widows in their distress" all in the name of Our Savior, Jesus Christ.  We partner with individuals in country and in the U.S. to offer food, shelter, job training, and HOPE! We do it one child, one woman, one house at a time. We cannot stop the rain and winds from coming, but we can help those in need to build lives on The Rock and to weather the storms of life.
Oh, Lord, May Angy and all those in distress know that Your name is a strong tower, and ALL who run to it are safe. Amen
