Australia Day Vibes
Celebrate Australia Day with Australia Day Vibes! Grab the family, pack a picnic and settle in for a day packed with buskers and roving entertainment at various Hills local parks on January 26. Coffee and food will also be available.
Flag raising ceremonies
Four flag raising ceremonies will be held on Australia Day, including at Centenary of ANZAC Reserve, John Benyon Rotary Park, Annangrove Park Sportsground and Castle Hill Heritage Park.
Australian flag in atrium
An Australian flag has been placed inside the atrium at Council’s Norwest Administration Building. It will be illuminated in the evenings in various colours as part of our Australia Day activities.
Colouring Challenge
The Hills Shire Library Service is running an Australia Day colouring challenge. Complete the template, located on the Library website, and return it to your nearest branch for a free gift, while stocks last.
Citizenship ceremony
A special Australia Day Citizenship Ceremony will be held at Council’s Norwest Administration Building on January 26. Up to 80 residents are expected to take the pledge and become new Australian citizens.
