LATEST PROJECTS
Road upgrade funding
The upgrade of Annangrove Rd & Terry Rd are a step closer after Council secured Special Infrastructure Contribution funding from the NSW Government for the design component of the project.
Waves upgrade update
Works are progressing on the Waves Aquatic Centre project. Currently, contractors are testing for leaks in the shell of the pool before further work commences. Work is on track for the pool to open in 2022.

Burbank Place 
Have your say on the planning proposal, draft Development Control Plan and a draft Voluntary Planning Agreement for Burbank Place, Norwest. Submissions close Thursday, June 17.
Secondary dwellings 
A planning proposal to set a maximum size criteria for secondary dwellings (granny flats) in the Shire’s rural zones, is now on exhibition. Submissions will close on Friday, June 4.

Volunteers are needed at Bidjiwong Community Nursery. Volunteering slots are available Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, and participants will receive training in all aspects of nursery work.
