Rose garden upgrade
Stage One of the Alfred Henry Whaling Memorial Reserve Rose Garden upgrade is now complete. Works included landscaping, new concrete pathways, seating and a new rose arbour.
New green corridor
Council has adopted a Draft Concept Master Plan that will transform a corridor, between Middleton Ave to Carrington Rd, and Showground Rd, into a green spine with active links and passive recreation.
Help design a new park 
Landcom invites you to help design a new park in the Hills Showground Station Precinct.The park will be a ‘leafy shared backyard’ where the community can relax, exercise, play or meet with friends and family.
New dog parks coming soon
Colbarra Place Reserve and Indwarra Avenue Reserve have recently been selected as new dog off-leash areas, after consultation with the community. Designs are now in the process of being completed.
COVID-19 support
We understand many residents are struggling due to the COVID-19 pandemic. We want to help where we can so we've introduced a range of practical support measures for those experiencing hardship.

The 2021 NSW Local Government elections will now take place on Saturday, December 4. Please ensure your name and address are up to date via the Australian Electoral Commission website.
