Summer Solstice Celebration

When: Wednesday 21st June
Time: 6pm - 10pm
Where: Tree Circle in the Holywell Care Farm Field
Cost: Bring food and drink to share

Midsummer is a time of abundance and energy. The crops are in full growth. They are reaching the pinnacles of maturity and coming closer to the harvest time.

Join us in a celebration of the fullness of life and of taking the time to raise our energy, regenerate and manifest our dreams.

We invite you to a bring and share feast, to music and dance and to the creation of a nature mandala.

A fire will be light in our tree circle and you are welcome to stay in it's presence through the short night until early dawn.

Cost: £110 - £240 subject to income

Essential Wisdom in Change Making

A unique chance with Satish Kumar to understand Gandhi’s four brilliant pillars:

  1. Wellbeing & justice for all
  2. Self discipline, self rule & self organising
  3. The economy of place & the genius of local
  4. The power of truth & radical non-violence
  • Learn how you can put them into context and action in your own life in relations to today’s world issues.
  • Spend time in the tranquil Teme Valley to reflect upon the issues that face us as humans
  • Be inspired, empowered & motivated to reclaim your power, address issues and start to effect changes you want to see in the world.
  • Practical activities along with lectures and reflective time.

Satish Kumar, now 80, was a student of the activist, social reformer and spiritual teacher Vinoba Bhave who was an avid follower of Mahatma Gandhi. Satish brings a rare level of authenticity to this course.
