Triple Helix Gives Engaging Masterclass

On Sunday, April 6th, Triple Helix Piano Trio gave a great masterclass at Symphony Hall. The award winning trio (violinist Bayla Keyes, cellist Rhonda Rider, and pianist Lois Shapiro) began the class with an interactive open rehearsal on the first movement of Beethoven’s ‘Ghost’ Trio, followed that with an exciting performance of the polished result incorporating suggestions from the audience, and finished up with an engaging masterclass giving insightful feedback to our two senior chamber groups. We were thrilled to have them here and look forward to partnering with them again in the future! You can see more photos from the event here.

Project STEP Students Perform

The past month has been a busy one for our students including performances for the Massachusetts Appleseed “Good Apple Award” Reception, a Violence Transformed performing arts reception, the BSO Higginson Society dinner, and a chamber music workshop with Boston Chamber Music Society. Above is Angelina Wallace at the BSO's Higginson Society Dinner, which we were grateful to be invited to by Mark Volpe and Bart Reidy. Thank you to all who hosted our students at these events!
