So Far This Year

Alumni Return for
Parent Council Meeting

On Saturday, March 7th, we were delighted to welcome back several STEP alumni and parents, including Jordan Calixto, bass, class of '12 and his parents (pictured above); Marie Francouer (mother of Aurélie Théramène, violin, class of '11); and Danielle Lennox-Heichman, violin, class of '09. These alums joined current parents at our monthly Parent Council Meeting, where they shared advice and answered questions about their experience in the program.

Triple Helix Residency

Over the past few weeks, Lois Shapiro (pianist of Triple Helix) has lead two workshops for our students on the topic of Eurhythmics. Several STEP students performed and gained valuable insight into the importance of movement in music.
Thank you Lois!
