National Council on the Arts!
We are very excited to announce that Project STEP has been asked to present our program at the March meeting of the National Council on the Arts in Washington, D.C.!
"The National Council on the Arts advises the Chairman of the National Endowment for the Arts, who also chairs the Council, on agency policies and programs. It reviews and makes recommendations to the Chairman on applications for grants, funding guidelines, and leadership initiatives." Learn more!
On March 31st, Executive Director Gabriella Sanna, Artistic Director Javier Caballero, and Project STEP 7th grade violinist, Amir Ali, will arrive in D.C. to give a presentation on Project STEP's programming to all meeting attendees. Amir will then perform a solo piece and talk about his experience in the program. The meeting is open to the public and will be live webcast here from 9am - 12pm on March 31.
