Braddock, PA -- Pennsylvania U.S. Senator-Elect John Fetterman on Wednesday released the following statement after Texas Governor Greg Abbott bussed about 30 immigrants to downtown Philadelphia:

“The Statue of Liberty doesn’t say ‘Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses, and then throw them on a bus for some cheap political stunt.’  This is America. And these are human beings – not props. We're better than this.”
