Have Your Kids Been Harmed by a PhD Psychologist?
California family courts are failing our kids. Many divorcing parents report being coerced by judges to hire PhD psychologists who make big bucks ripping abused kids away from their safe parent and forcing them to reunify with their alleged abuser. This unethical "threat therapy" is big business, and we need to educate the CA Board of Psychology (which oversees PhD psychologists in our state) about the true costs of this abusive “treatment” of our teens.

Join us for public testimony on Thurs. Feb. 9th at the State Capitol in Sacramento, CA. The meeting starts at 9am in Room 112, but we ask you to join us at 8:30am in the 6th Floor Cafeteria. We don’t yet know how much time each speaker will get, so come prepared to speak for 1-3 minutes. Please bring your comments in writing, and if possible, make 8-10 copies to share with Board members, their staff, CJE & the media. Check our website in the coming days, where we will post more details about the meeting as we get them. Here is a copy of the agenda.

QUESTIONS? Email us at info@centerforjudicialexcellence.org or call us at 415-444-6556. If you cannot join us, the webcast can reportedly be accessed here, starting at 8:30am on Thursday.

2017 CA Legislation - Giving Kids A Voice
Sen. Connie Leyva (D-Chino) has agreed to introduce the Giving Children A Voice Act, which lowers the age from 14 to 10 that CA children can speak directly with a family court judge about their custody and visitation wishes. Please thank Sen. Leyva for her leadership on this bill, and contact your state senator and encourage him or her to co-author SB 170.
