The Cawley Career Education Center teaches students how to identify career opportunities that fit with their values, interests, personality, and skills. We empower students by providing resources designed to foster the development of career management skills to help them build lifelong careers. We facilitate specialized programs to connect students with employers and generate internship and full-time opportunities.

The Center for Multicultural Equity & Access (CMEA) enhances the education of students historically denied access to Georgetown University because of their race or ethnicity. To that end, we provide mentoring, multicultural programming, diversity education, and academic support; we work to create a community committed to education of the whole person and care for others; and we challenge the University to fulfill its commitment to justice for the common good.

The LGBTQ Resource Center, serving lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and questioning individuals, is the first Center of its kind at a Catholic institution in the country. We have sought to build on the intellectual engagements of Georgetown to create a Center that speaks to all of us in our diversity.

It is with great excitement that we bring you Georgetown Mobile, the app that empowers its students and staff with information about Georgetown and New Student Orientation (NSO) at the palm of their hand. Be sure to download it in the App Store for iOS and Android devices by searching "GU NSO" before arriving to the Hilltop!

Hi Jack,

As a first year student without work-study, I'm wondering how to go about getting an on-campus job.  Is that even possible? Possible but not likely? I'd appreciate any guidance you can offer.

Much thanks,

Hey @Ca$hMoneyHoya,

The Student Employment Office handles all work study positions. Feel free to shoot them an email or give them a ring to get some details. They have all the most up-to-date information for open spots on-campus.

You can reach SEO at or (202) 687-4187.
