In observance of our County’s health mandate to guard against the spread of the coronavirus, wearing of masks is required upon entering the church building and for all indoor activities; including worship, classes, and meetings.

First Sunday of the New Year 

Sunday, January 2 at 9:00 & 10:30 AM
 
The entire worship service is a celebration of the Lord’s Supper with Covid-safe serving of the  communion elements Both worship times are identical format and content. 
 

Nursery and toddler care is available.  Elementary age children are to join their parents in the sanctuary—No Kids church (Kindergarten through 6th grade) this Sunday.
 

Out of concern for Covid safety given the highly contagious omicron variant we have discontinued food and beverage service after worship for the month of January.  Thank you for your understanding and support of this decision.

 
 

We celebrate the birth of Vakaris Suard born December 18, 2021 to Gintare and Micah Suard of Santa Rosa.  Vakaris’ happy grandparents are Chemi and Vic Suard.

We extend our love and prayers to Sue Grave and her brother Chuck Garvey, whose son, Joe Garvey (age 40) of Vashon Island, Washington passed away suddenly on December 25.

Adult Education Class: Isaiah's Hope

Taught by Tim Stafford

Isaiah is a long book, mostly written in poetry. We'll focus on passages that speak of hope, to understand how Isaiah could be genuinely hopeful in an awful time.

Movie Night: News of the World

We will view and discuss News of the World (PG-13). Set in Texas, just after the Civil War, this film has themes of redemption, sacrifice, patience, and reaching across racial and cultural lines to listen to and appreciate the stories of others.  
 


 
New Members Class

Saturday, January 22, 9:30 AM - Noon

 
Would you like to know more about our church or become a member?  If so, we invite you to attend our New Members Class.  We’ll discuss essential Christian beliefs, the structure, mission, and core values of First Presbyterian Church. You will also learn more about our church programs and ministries, and how to make use of your gifts as an active participant. This class will also give you an opportunity to get to know other new people in our church.
