Connecting Through Nature Hike:

Rush Creek Preserve in Novato

Sunday, January 23, 1:00 PM

Meet in the Church Parking Lot to Caravan to the Preserve

Weather permitting, our next hike will be to Novato’s Rush Creek Preserve: a 3.9 mile trail loop with some steep hills but mostly mild hiking conditions.  Our guide, Bruce Purcell, chose this location not only because of its beauty and bird watching opportunities, but because it allows for hikers who may become tired to take an alternate route with little or no elevation gain.  To learn more about some of the birds we might see, click this link.

We suggest you bring water, a snack and hiking poles if you wish.  If you think you might join us, please let us know by signing up at this link so you can receive updates as to the status of the hike if we need to reschedule due to weather concerns.
