Classes our Artists are Teaching:
- Marianne Cordyack (Pottery)-http://www.restoncommunitycenter.com/arts_education.shtml
- Tyler Kulenguski (Jewelry/Metalsmithing) - 1) Learn basic Wire-Wrapping to create closed wrapped loops, ear wires, and basic clasps, and make your own earrings. 2) Learn to fuse Fine Silver wire and make hand crafted ear wires, chain, and toggles, without the complications of solder or flux. 3) Learn Basic Soldering and make earrings or a pendant. - Jonathan Kaufman (wooden boxes): currently teaches the course "Wooden Gift Box, CLS242" at Woodcraft of Washington DC (https://www.woodcraft.com/stores/washington-dc-area/classes) or call (703-912-6727). Classes are three hours, typically on the third Thursday each month. Learn techniques for building a fancy decorative boxes. Discover a simple approach for getting PERFECT mitered corners. Learn the beginning steps for enhancing a plain box.
