Scything Training

Scything training sessions are available, open to all Friends groups, but limited spaces:

Saturday 12th October at Royate Hill: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/learn-to-scythe-with-bristol-parks-and-tcv-tickets-70773191521

Friday 18th October at Netham Park: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/learn-to-scythe-with-bristol-parks-and-tcv-tickets-70909194309

Note: Ella, Becky Belfin and Hayley Herridge are working hard to arrange scything sessions (not training) across our parks where they are needed. Sites include St Anne’s Orchard, Eastville Park, Coombe Brook Valley, Eastwood Farm and others. If you would like a helping hand with scything in your park, please let us know as soon as possible.

See www.bristolparksforum.org.uk/information/health-and-safety-training/ for links to request training and view all currently available courses.

BPF AGM, let us have your views

The agenda for our next meeting on Sat 19th October at the Greenway Centre will also be our AGM. If you are interested in joining the committee or standing as Chair then please do let us know.

This is also a good opportunity to review how the BPF is working as a whole. Please let us know what you think we are doing right or what we are doing wrong.

Are these emails useful?
Is 3 meetings a year as we had this year right?
Are Saturday mornings the right times for all our meetings?
Are we covering the right subjects in our meetings?

All comments welcome!
