Transforming at Namgyalgar South Retreat Centre
Namgyalgar South is now 20 years old and its beautiful grounds and sympathetic environmental buildings are still as wonderful to behold as ever, they encapsulate the joy and sincere energy of so many Dzogchen practitioners who have worked together with creative generosity over those years. 2013 has seen the continuation of this work in progress with the retreat centre seeing renewed energy put in to expand its role and function in collaboration with the development of Namgyalgar North and Chogyal Namkhai Norbu’s advice. A team of people have repaired, painted and decorated dormitories, caravans, showers, kitchen, purchased mattresses, built a caravan roof cover and safe steps and there is more to go.  While Namygalgar South will always be a special place for Dzogchen study and practice retreats we are now offering the Centre for Private Rentals. We are pleased to say that already we have had some wonderful private rental retreats with more to come.

Location: Namgyalgar South see www.dzogchen.org.au

Caravan Refurbishment Project
In the last few months Namgyalgar South’s caravans have been treated to a gaiety of colour inside and out. The Rental team has been hard at work and having lots of fun painting, sewing curtains, and bedcovers, along with making many other improvements. Pamela from Canberra was so inspired that she chose Cerise Pink to cheer up her van, we painted, she donated. Many thanks go to Rabgyi, Sam, Marek, Ricky, Karen, Robyn, Joy, Michelle and Liam for starting this renewal. There is more to do, so Karma yoga is welcome or help of any kind, just contact us to find out more and share some ideas.

The Rental Team is comprised of Glenda and Catherine (Yellow & Red Gaykil), Barbara, Lisa, Jenny, Viki, Rabgyi & Sam.
