5 tips for a New Year’s resolution to smile about
New Year’s resolutions are among the most popular traditions. If you are seeking a practical goal that can improve your health, appearance, and confidence, it may be time to consider resolving to take better care of your oral health. Here are five great ways to enjoy a year of great smiles:
  1. Improve daily hygiene (no skipping the floss, or rushed brushing)
  2. Stop procrastinating and seek treatment for existing dental problems
  3. Eat a nutritious diet, rich in vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants
  4. If you smoke or use other tobacco products, there’s no better time to quit than now
  5. If you aren’t happy with the appearance of your smile, ask your dentist about cosmetic treatments
Is smiling the secret to success?
It’s hard not to notice the dazzling smiles displayed by celebrities, high-ranking politicians, business leaders and other successful people around the world. If you have ever thought those winning smiles played a role in the success of those people, you are not alone. Researchers have conducted many studies over the course of several decades, and concluded that smiles have a significant impact on people’s confidence, as well as the way that people judge them.

A groundbreaking study in 1970 suggested that people with charming smiles are thought of as more intelligent and happier. Several studies beginning in 2002 confirmed and expended on those findings. One of the most recent studies, performed in 2012, examined social media profile pictures of college freshmen, and found a strong co-relation between facial expressions, and reported life-satisfaction nearly four years later. Perhaps the most remarkable smile survey to date was performed in 2010, with findings indicating that happy, smiling individuals may live longer.

These are just a few more reasons to love your smile, take care of it, and use it often.
Patient Reviews
"Thanks you for taking such good care of my Aunt! She couldn't believe how well her visit went.

My Aunt's response -
"Alicia, I firmly believe in giving credit when due. On that note I have to thank you for the wonderful experience I had today at the dentist that you referred me to. It was pain free, had excellent bed side manners and a lot of patience with me even when I was so nervous that I was fighting off the gas and novacain. (sp) Hopefully I am finally on the right track and that my horrific dentist shopping days are over. Thanks again, I really appreciate it!!!! :) :) :)"

You guys are the best!" ~ Alicia
